Cora writes a one-page brief for each account and shows it on that account’s Overview. Open it with Open full brief.

What it is

The brief is a single page with these sections:
  • Summary
  • Desired outcomes
  • Where they stand
  • Live threads
  • Risks
  • People
  • History
  • Contracts and meetings

Set it up

1

Go to Accounts

Go to Accounts.
2

Open column settings

Click Configure table columns.
3

Start the brief

Click Set up account brief.
4

Choose which accounts

Under Which accounts, choose All accounts or Matching rules.Matching rules keeps only accounts that match every rule. Rules use CRM account fields from Salesforce, HubSpot, or Gainsight. The count on the choice shows how many accounts it covers. Connect a CRM before you can filter by those fields. For a large portfolio, start with Matching rules and widen it once the briefs look right.
5

Save

Click Set up brief.

Sources

Under What Cora reads, three sources are already included. Each one is labeled with what it Feeds:
  • Account feeds who they are.
  • Customer timeline feeds history, people, and live threads.
  • Cora - Lifecycle Events feeds notes and research.
Click Add source for anything else the brief should use. Add CRM deal or success-plan fields so Desired outcomes has something to draw on. Leave those fields out and that section stays thin. Extra instructions (optional) sit on top of Cora’s standard brief format.

Refresh and cost

Briefs refresh daily at 7pm PT. Each brief written uses 1 Action. Accounts with no new activity are skipped. Click Refresh account brief in Configure table columns to queue a run now.

Changing it later

Open Configure table columns, then Edit account brief. Click Update brief to save. Delete account brief removes it.
Changing sources rewrites every brief, at 1 Action each. Pick sources when you set the brief up.Narrowing Matching rules removes briefs for accounts that leave. They get a fresh brief if they come back in.

Who can change it

Only Admins can set up, edit, refresh, or delete the brief. Everyone with access can read briefs.
