The Google Calendar integration gives Cora read-only access to your calendar so it can reference your upcoming meetings in chat and agents. Integration Type: OAuth 2.0, User-Level
Scope: Read-only (calendar.readonly)

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have:
  • A Google Workspace or personal Google account
  • Access to Google Calendar
  • An active Cora.ai user account

Setup Steps

1

Initiate Connection

  1. Log into Cora.ai
  2. Go to SettingsIntegrations
  3. Click Connect on the Google Calendar card
2

Authorize Access

  1. Sign in with your Google account if prompted
  2. Review the permissions on the consent screen
  3. Click Allow
This only grants read-only access to your calendar. Cora cannot modify, create, or delete any events.
3

Confirm Connection

  1. You will be redirected back to Cora.ai
  2. The Google Calendar card will show Connected status

What Cora.ai Accesses

Reads:
  • Your calendar list
  • Upcoming events (date, time, title, attendees, location)
  • Event details when referenced in conversation
Cora does not create, modify, or delete any calendar events. Each user connects their own calendar; Cora only accesses the calendar of the user who authorized the connection.

Disconnecting

To disconnect Google Calendar:
  1. Navigate to SettingsIntegrations
  2. Locate the Google Calendar card
  3. Click Disconnect
  4. Confirm the disconnection
You can also revoke access directly in your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. If you need help, email support@cora.ai.
